Re: Announcement of Grand Ledge Medical Campus and Freestanding ED
I am excited to share that we will be expanding further into the community and enhancing patients’ access to health care services with the construction of an ambulatory care campus in Grand Ledge, along Saginaw Highway, just west of Nixon Road.
McLaren Health Care has committed nearly $40 million to the construction of the medical campus which will be anchored by a freestanding 17-room emergency department. The facility will also include additional clinical space, such as a family medicine office, imaging, and a specialty clinic that will bring rotating specialists to the area, increasing access to commonly used and in-demand health services.
Construction is scheduled to break ground in the summer of 2024. With a full year slated to complete the facility, McLaren Greater Lansing leadership expects the campus to treat its first patient in fall 2025.
