Board-certified surgical oncologist Tolutope Oyasiji, MD offers minimally invasive surgery options for cancer patients at Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint.

 

Dr. Oyasiji utilizes minimally invasive options, ranging from laparoscopic to robotic surgery. With these procedures, Dr. Oyasiji makes smaller incisions resulting in patients recovering faster than with traditional surgery techniques. Patients that need cancerous cells or tissues removed, tumor size reduction or patients who are experiencing symptoms that may be caused by cancer can benefit from surgery. Dr. Oyasiji has expertise in the following sites:

 

  • Gastrointestinal tract (esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, gall bladder, biliary tract, liver, small intestine, colon and rectum)
  • Soft tissue and endocrine malignancies (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal)
