McLaren Lapeer Region

McLaren Lapeer Region opened its much-needed dialysis service for inpatients in 2005 in response to community demand, and has since added a state-of-the-art outpatient facility.

Dialysis normally begins for patients when their natural kidney function has fallen below 85-90% of normal. Unless the patient receives a kidney transplant, they will continue dialysis for the rest of their lives. The treatment will not cure a kidney insufficiency, but it will help a person live longer and feel better. It is our goal to provide a sense of comfort to all those we care for.

Our outpatient facility is managed by Reliant Renal Care and includes many special features for the comfort of our patients.
