Meijer + Shipt Home Grocery Delivery

Meijer and Shipt’s grocery home delivery service is a personalized shopping experience that utilizes your local Meijer store to shop over 55,000 fresh grocery, household essentials and health and beauty care items. As an exclusive offer, McLaren employees can purchase an annual membership for 50% off ($49 vs. regular $99)!  This offer is for the initial membership only.

McLaren employees need to sign up using their McLaren email address in order to receive the discount.

HOW SHIPT WORKS

What is Shipt?

- Shipt is an app that provides delivery of grocery, household, health & beauty and select general merchandise items exclusively from your local Meijer via a local community of reliable shoppers. Become a member, order from your phone or computer, and we'll bring your order straight to the location requested.

What area is the service offered?

- Meijer & Shipt will provide home delivery across the six-state footprint and all major markets. Visit www.meijer.com/Shipt to check for most updated servicing zip codes.

How can I apply to be a Shipt Shopper?

- Anyone besides a current Meijer TM can apply to be a Shipt Shopper on www.shipt.com.

Does membership include all items in the store or a streamlined selection?

- Shipt members can order from over 55,000+ items from your local Meijer.

PRICING

How much is a Shipt membership?

- Members can choose a yearly option or a month to month membership. A yearly Shipt membership is $99 per year and a monthly membership is $14 per month. - When Shipt launches in a new city, we offer a special credit with our annual membership option! $25 in free items on us if you sign up before launch!

Do you have a delivery fee?

- You receive free delivery for orders over $35!V

- You may order below $35, but a $7 delivery fee will be added to your total to help with the picking, packaging, and processing of your order.

Do you charge surge or busy pricing?

- Nope! Pricing is the same every time you use the app. We are committed to getting you the items you want, when you want them, regardless of how busy we are!

How are your prices determined? - Shipt prices will vary slightly from in-s

tore prices to help cover the costs of picking, packing and processing. Our members can expect to pay about $5 more using Shipt than they would on a $35 order purchased in the store themselves.

Do you honor in-store sales or coupons?

- Shipt prices differ from in-store and will regularly run sales and promotions in their app.

- Currently, mPerks is not available however we are considering future options

- Shipt does not accept paper coupons.

Do shoppers accept tips?

- Yes! Tips are not required but are greatly appreciated. You may tip in cash or within the app up to 24 hours after you receive your delivery and 100% of your tip will go to the shopper.

PAYMENTS

What forms of payment do you accept?

- We currently accept all major US credit and debit cards including reloadable gift cards. We apologize for the inconvenience currently we cannot accept store gift cards or EBT cards.

What is the refund policy?

- You can request a refund within 7 days of your order. It's our goal to deliver the right items on time, and make your life easier. If there is an issue with an item, please tell us in the Shipt app.

ORDERING

Is there a minimum or maximum order?

- There is no minimum for orders. Orders over $35 have free delivery, and orders under $35, have a $7 delivery fee.

- There is no maximum number of orders or items. Members can order as much as you want!

What items are you restricted from delivering?

- Items that are not eligible include but not limited to the following: tobacco, fireworks, propane tanks, lottery tickets, prescriptions, hunting and ammunition

- Alcohol currently only available in the state of Michigan. Restrictions apply. You must be 21+ and have a valid ID to order and receive alcohol.

Can I have orders delivered to family or friends?

- Yes, you can send orders to anyone as long as they're in the coverage area.

What if the store is out of something that I ordered?

- Your shopper will contact you to see if you would like a substitute item. When ordering, you can use the notes section of the app to give us a heads up on substitutions.

What days/times can I get orders delivered?

- Members can place an order anytime at their convenience. Deliveries can be scheduled for a one-hour window as soon as one hour after your order.

- Shipt delivers 7 days a week with the exception of certain holidays. If the store is open, Shipt will deliver to you that means you can get delivery 24 hours a day!

DELIVERY:

Do I need to be home at the time of delivery?

- Yes, if no one is home at the time we deliver your order, Shipt will call your mobile phone to ask for options on how to complete the delivery. Should this occur, any perishable items in your order could be damaged, so please make sure someone is available to receive the order.

Do you use personal cars or Shipt vehicles?

- Shipt uses a crowdsourcing model, Shipt Shoppers use their reliable personal vehicles.
