Description

Screenings will be performed by a physician; they’re quick and painless. Patients with an abnormal finding will be followed up by a nurse navigator with a referral to a physician.

• The chance of developing oral cancer is not limited to being a smoker or using alcohol. Oral cancer patients are increasingly young, healthy, non-smoking individuals.
• Everyone over the age of 18 should be screened annually.
