The McLaren Northern Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is a 15-bed unit located in McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. McLaren Northern is located at 416 Connable Ave., in Petoskey Michigan. Home is our goal. Goal achievement starts the minute of admission. Our doctors, nurses and therapists are all rehab trained and focused. Our interdisciplinary team includes the patient, family and community resources to ensure continued success after discharge. We take a functional approach to rehabilitation, focusing on increasing ability and education. We offer family/caregiver education and training ranging from an hour to 24 hours in length, depending on need. With our patient centered, team driven focus we are above the national average in return to home success.
