McLaren Bay Region’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Earned Three-Year Accreditation by CARF

McLaren Bay Region’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Program has earned a three-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) for its Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Program for Adults and as a Stroke Specialty Program. This award is the hospital’s ninth consecutive three-year accreditation.

CARF accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Documentation of the award includes the following statement from CARF: “This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.”
