Basic Needs Fair Links Community to Vital Resources

McLaren Flint and McLaren Health Plan proudly supported the 15th Annual Community Basic Needs Fair on March 23, hosted by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library. This free event provided essential resources to Flint and Genesee County residents, and over 100 people participated.

More than 25 community agencies came together to provide everything from family support to healthcare to financial services and workforce development, issues that can be detrimental to a person's ability to maintain good health. The McLaren Flint and McLaren Health Plan Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees provided education and gave out door prizes and other items promoting healthy lifestyles.
