David M. Zechman, FACHE, President and CEO of McLaren Northern Michigan, announced today his intention to retire from his position at the end of the year.
Zechman joined McLaren Northern Michigan in November 2013. He brought a passion for quality and service excellence, as well as a keen understanding of the challenges facing health care delivery in the rural environment, having previously served in senior leadership roles at health systems in Missouri, Kentucky, and Florida.
During his tenure in northern Michigan, Zechman sought to increase access to high quality care for patients all across the region. He led the development of a transformational growth plan for McLaren Northern Michigan, which positions the organization well for future generations through the recruitment of top talent and the construction of a new, modern facility slated for completion in 2022.
