The appointments come upon the retirement of former board members Frank Cloutier, public relations director of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, and Linda Kaufmann, formerly the executive director of Community Mental Health for Central Michigan.
“Frank and Linda have been invaluable members of our board for several years, and we’re grateful for the leadership and insights they’ve provided,” said Robert David, president and CEO at McLaren Central Michigan. “We’re excited to welcome Cindy and Lori and look forward to their contributions as we progress in our collective purpose of providing for the health care needs and general wellbeing of the central Michigan region.”
Jacobs, director of constituent engagement and membership at Central Michigan University, where she has worked for 22 years, was born in Mount Pleasant and chose to raise her family in the city.
“McLaren is a huge part of the Mount Pleasant community,” she said, “and I want to use my expertise to help others take advantage of the sense of community that I have enjoyed my entire life.”
Rogers, a construction design consultant, joined the board with the belief of getting more involved in the community.
“I joined the board because I realize the important role the hospital plays in the health of our community and want to give back for all it’s done for me and my family,” she said. “I hope to help the hospital grow to meet and exceed the needs of our community.”
