McLaren Caro Region is pleased to welcome Dave Mellendorf, a limited
licensed master social worker, as the new therapist at the Senior Life Solutions program.
Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient group therapy program. The program is designed to meet the unique needs of seniors struggling with age-related depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, a recent health diagnosis, or the loss of a loved one.
As a therapist, Mellendorf will be responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients. The therapeutic services he will utilize include group, individual, and family therapy sessions. Therapy will focus on quality patient care and provision of services ordered by a physician.
Mellendorf earned his master’s degree from Walden University and recently worked at Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems.
“I have enjoyed working with the senior population in the past and am excited to get started in this program," said Mellendorf.
Family members, physicians, self-referrals, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
