McLaren Greater Lansing Launches Hospital Project Website

The new site will share process updates and gather community feedback

LANSING, Mich. – McLaren Greater Lansing has launched a new website to communicate to Lansing residents and collect feedback about its new hospital project, expected to open in South Lansing in late 2021.

The new website was designed with community collaboration in mind. Its survey, contact forms and trending community input will allow Lansing residents to participate with the new hospital project at varying levels—and also stay up to speed on news and updates with the project. McLaren has also launched an online survey to gather feedback on subjects from the hospital’s architectural design to the health care delivery process.

“McLaren’s new campus will transform health care for our community for generations to come, and we believe the community should have a major role in building it,” said Kirk Ray, CEO of McLaren Greater Lansing. “We welcome questions, ideas and discussion. We are committed to listening to community feedback throughout the process, and plan to use local businesses, consultants, and workers on the majority of the project.”

McLaren hosted a community input event on May 22 at the Lansing Welcome Center, which featured stations for the community to consult with traffic experts, receive health screenings, explore job opportunities the project will create and more.
