McLaren Northern Michigan is pleased to welcome Julie Mariotti, MD, Primary Care Physician, to the Gaylord Family Practice, located at 1320 M-32 in Gaylord.
Dr. Mariotti received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her Family Practice residency at Bon Secours Cottage Health Services (Now Beaumont) in Grosse Pointe, where she was Chief Administrative Resident. Dr. Mariotti is board certified in Family Medicine and has a special interest in LGBTQ Health, Women’s Health, and Dermatology.
“My favorite aspects of Family Medicine are being able to treat a wide variety of health conditions, as well as being in a position to have a positive and significant impact on a person’s overall well-being,” stated Dr. Mariotti.
With over 19 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Mariotti is looking forward to living in the Gaylord community. “I was in a solo practice in busy metro Detroit. I am looking forward to a more relaxed lifestyle that northern Michigan has to offer.”
A Michigan native, Dr. Mariotti is no stranger to northern Michigan. Her husband is a co-owner of a business in Lewiston, and she has spent years visiting and enjoying the area. Her interests are gardening, motorcycle riding, cross-stitching, reading, and spending time with her cats and English Bulldog named Greta.
