In July 2019, Shivajee Nallamothu, DO, FAOAO, has joined McLaren Medical Group working at the McLaren Oakland Orthopedic Surgery office and McLaren Oakland, a 338-bed medical center dedicated to providing healthcare services to individuals in Pontiac and the surrounding Oakland County area.
Leading up to him joining the McLaren Medical Group team, Dr. Nallamothu received his medical degree in orthopedic medicine from Michigan State University in 1994 and continued on to complete his internship and residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital (POH) Medical Center in Pontiac, now McLaren Oakland.
Throughout his education and years of experience, board-certified orthopedic surgeon Shivajee Nallamothu, DO, FAOAO, has been acknowledged for his excellence and leadership in the field of orthopedic surgery. Nallamothu was chief resident at POH Medical Center, HOUR Detroit Magazine’s 2008 Top Doc in Orthopedic Medicine, a member of the Medical Advisory Board at McLaren Oakland, BreakFree director and Chief of Orthopedic Medicine at McLaren Oakland, as well as program director of orthopedic surgery at Michigan State University.
Nallamothu joins McLaren Medical Group with extensive years of experience in orthopedic surgery, treating patients and performing procedures including arthritis and joint replacements, sports injuries, non-operative treatments, treatment of pediatric patients, fractures, and orthopedic traumas.
