To provide care closer to home, Michael Martin, MD, General Surgeon on Medical Staff at McLaren Northern Michigan and physician with Petoskey Surgeons is seeing patients in Cheboygan.
Dr. Martin came to McLaren Northern Michigan in 2016 from the St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI, where he was the recipient of the Stephen P. Swistak Award for Resident Teacher of the Year. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and was a member of the Honor Society, Critical Care Improvement Council, and Program Evaluation Committee.
Dr. Martin will begin seeing patients one Tuesday a month with half the day in the McLaren Northern Michigan – Cheboygan Campus operating room, and half the day seeing patients in the office located at 810 South Main Street in Cheboygan.
