Dr. Seong Chi and his late wife, Dr. Ki Whan Oh Chi, were honored in a ceremony on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, as one of the main roads through the campus of the new hospital will soon be renamed Chi Drive. Dr. Chi was a renowned cardiovascular surgeon at the hospital from 1965-95 and Dr. Oh Chi was the first full-time emergency room physician here and helped establish the Emergency Department during that period.
The dedication recognized the many contributions of the doctors to McLaren Greater Lansing and the community during and after their tenure with the hospital. We are so thankful for the impact Drs. Chi made at McLaren Greater Lansing for the legacy they are leaving behind for our caregivers and this community.
