Volunteers Needed In Cheboygan

Do you have the desire to make a difference? The McLaren Northern Michigan Cheboygan Campus has volunteer opportunities for those who are looking to stay busy and help community members.

The first opportunity is to be a Guide at the entrance on the Cheboygan Community Medical Building. This individual will help assist patients and visitors with wayfinding, registering, and, when possible, help to transport patients and lab work. Most volunteers work a 4 hour shift per week, or can just be on-call to assist when they are able. Volunteering is a great way to give back and help others during a difficult time.

Another option is to become a CARE Van Driver. The CARE van drives patients from Cheboygan to the Petoskey Karmanos Cancer Institute to help ensure they receive the lifesaving treatments they need. All it takes to become a CARE Program volunteer driver is a safe driving record, a valid driver's license and some free time. KCI at McLaren Northern Michigan will provide and promote the vehicle; we need your desire to make a difference.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer, please call 231.627.1200 or apply online at McLaren.org/NorthernVolunteer.
