Roger Gietzen is the father of two children. He is a neuro-hospitalist which means he cares for people in the hospital setting who have neurological disorders. He endorses a holistic perspective in cultivating health and believes that many life factors, such as the quality of one's relationships, emotional/spiritual health, lifestyle and diet, are more important than pills and surgeries in establishing good health. Dr. Gietzen travels regularly to Haiti where he volunteers for a wide variety of humanitarian services for the poor and needy. He hopes to have an uplifting effect on all those he cares for and help them achieve a sense of closure.
