Dr. Gregory Norris, a neurointensivist, is board certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care. His role at McLaren Flint involves managing the care of neuro patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Along with leading the inpatient critical care management of stroke patients, Dr. Norris cares for patients who have experienced brain trauma, seizures and other chronic neurologic diseases that have acute flare-ups. He is a key presenter in educational seminars related to the care of stroke patients across the McLaren system.
Dr. Norris completed a residency in Neurology as well as fellowships in Neurotrauma and Critical Care at Wayne State University in Detroit. He also earned his medical degree at Wayne State University. His professional associations include memberships in the Neurocritical Care Society, American Heart Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Academy of Neurology and American College of Chest Physicians.
