Jessica Dilts was only are 31 years old when she noticed blood in her stool. She was in great shape and training to run a half-marathon. She went to see a gastrointestinal physician who ruled out a colonoscopy since she was so young. One year later, at the age of 32, Jessica was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. She has been treated by Philip Philip, M.D., Ph.D., E.R.C.P. a gastrointestinal oncologist at the Karmanos Cancer Institute ever since.
