Immunization Resources
McLaren Physician Partners (MPP), has compiled these resources for addressing vaccine hesitancy for child and adolescent immunizations.
Pediatric Immunizations and Well Child Visits are a key HEDIS metric and a focus for improvement within MPP. Over the course of the past few years, physicians have seen an increase in vaccine hesitancy among parents.
The AAFP has created four new resources to help physicians and their care teams move patients from vaccine hesitancy to vaccine confidence. The resources, produced by the Academy in collaboration with Pfizer Inc., include a vaccine safety fact sheet, a counseling guide, a patient education infographic, and a series of email templates.
We have also included presentations from the 2022 Michigan Annual Vaccine Conference. These documents include Michigan Childhood Immunization Registry (MCIR) resources, an update from the CDC on Pediatric and Adolescent Immunizations, techniques for increasing vaccine equity in the community and an update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
