PETOSKEY, Mich.—McLaren Northern Michigan, the 202-bed, Petoskey-based regional hospital serving 22 counties, has been named one of the Nation’s Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals according to an independent quality analysis by PINC AI ™ and reported by Fortune. The regional leader in cardiovascular care, this is the latest in a string of successive recognitions earned by the hospital for its excellence in heart care.
This also marks the sixth consecutive year McLaren Northern Michigan has earned inclusion on this list of top performing heart hospitals.
The Nation’s Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals list was determined following an objective and independent review of publicly available cardiac care metrics, taking into account clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and cost.

Compared to their peers, hospitals on the list are shown to have significantly higher survival rates, fewer complications, lower readmission rates, a better overall experience, and lower costs among other exceptional statistics.
