Traditions are an important part of the holiday season. At McLaren Port Huron, we are celebrating the holidays with three traditions that embody the spirit of the season. The community is invited to celebrate with us and make these traditions part of their own. In the spirit of keeping everyone safe and healthy this holiday season, all the displays are visible from outside. So, bundle up and walk or drive through to see the displays.


2021 Festival of Trees Display

33rd Annual Festival of Trees

This annual fundraiser for McLaren Port Huron Foundation takes place through the New Year at McLaren Port Huron. The main floor public areas have been transformed into winter wonderlands featuring beautifully decorated trees. New this year, Festival of Trees is spreading holiday cheer throughout downtown Port Huron with displays in nine storefronts. All tree displays can be viewed from outside. Raffle tickets for trees and raffle packages are available for purchase online.  


2021 Holiday Train Display

Dr. Percy McDonald’s Annual Train Spectacular

For more than 30 years, Dr. Percy McDonald has been sharing his love of trains with the community with his spectacular holiday train display at McLaren Port Huron. This year, the display runs from December 6 through the New Year. The train display is in the South Tower Lobby and visible from both outside and inside the hospital. 2021 Pine Grove Park Holiday Display Lights

Winter Celebration in Pine Grove Park

McLaren Port Huron’s Employees That Care Club is participating in this community event. Organized by the Port Huron Parks and Recreation Department, the event features lighted displays throughout Pine Grove Park. The community is invited to walk or drive the park to view the displays. Look for McLaren Port Huron’s display right across from the hospital’s main entrance. You’ll recognize some famous characters from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!
