Make an Impact

2021 has now come to an end, and the McLaren Flint Foundation would like to thank YOU for choosing to support our organization! Amazing individuals, community groups and businesses have all played a major role in making 2021 a great success. Looking back, we are particularly grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support to the hospital, specifically to the needs of our patients and staff. Your generosity helped fund many initiatives including the Hospitality House Nights of Hope Fund, our patient care fund(s), new medical equipment, and hospital renovations such as our new Hospice Suite; just to name a few. Please see additional impact that was made by donors like you.

Going into the new year, the McLaren Flint Foundation will continue to focus on improving the lives of our patients, and your support is what makes it all possible. You provide the Foundation with the ability to think broader and dream bigger in ways that help our hospital and our patients who come from all over Michigan seeking care at McLaren Flint.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment!

Freda Marks

A LIFE LIVED SIMPLY, A GIFT GIVEN HUMBLY.  GENTLE WOMAN LEAVES LASTING LEGACY FOR McLAREN.

She was a person you might see every day, but not really notice. She worked hard, in a quiet way, and never drew attention to herself. Freda Marks was an unassuming, diligent woman who believed in service and putting others first. When she died at age 96, she gave half of her estate to McLaren Flint, the place she worked for 19 years. The gift, totaling close to $400,000, will help cancer patients and patients with urologic disease.
