Welcome to the website of the McLaren Macomb Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency, affiliated with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The training program is committed to providing an intellectually stimulating and supportive environment for our residents. Our community-based hospital encourages resident run services, under attending supervision, where the resident can experience hands-on training to develop their skills and clinical acumen. The 100% board certification pass rate of our graduates validates the training they have received.

Protected didactic education occurs on Wednesdays.
Book Club occurs on Monday and Friday mornings.
Journal Club occurs once a month.
Tumor Boards occur on the third Wednesday of every month.

We are listed in ERAS as the McLaren Health Care/Macomb/MSU, Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACGME number 2202500376). This is the only place where applicants for interviews are selected. Applications are reviewed by the program administrator, program director, and associate program director. Those selected with then be contacted by the academic administrator with an invitation to interview.
Applicants will be notified to interview by invitation ONLY. For the 2020-2021 Academic Year, the OBGYN interviews will be held virtually. All applicants will interview with the program director, along with any other faculty or residents the program director feels necessary. Details regarding the program will be sent out once an applicant has accepted and scheduled an interview.
Residents are required to complete one research project during their senior year

Each year, medical students complete clinical rotations at McLaren Macomb. We are a base hospital site for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our goal is to provide outstanding clinical training in a friendly, supportive environment.
