  • A Message from the Program Director
    Garret J. Holcomb, MD

Welcome to the website of the McLaren Macomb Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency, affiliated with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The training program is committed to providing an intellectually stimulating and supportive environment for our residents. Our community-based hospital encourages resident run services, under attending supervision, where the resident can experience hands-on training to develop their skills and clinical acumen. The 100% board certification pass rate of our graduates validates the training they have received.

    Our program aims to:

    • Complete involvement in the care and delivery of all obstetric patients
    • Exposure to a diverse gynecologic surgical experience involving minimally invasive, vaginal, robotic, and open procedures
    • Simulation labs for surgical training
