Representatives from Bike4Breast Cancer Northern Michigan presented Isaac Kaufman, MD, and staff at the Karmanos Cancer Institute of McLaren Northern Michigan with $20,000 for the Kathleen Jontz Breast Health Fund at the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation. Their generosity helps the Breast Health Department to purchase top-of-the-line equipment and offsets the costs of diagnostic tests including mammograms, biopsies, and ultrasounds for patients who meet certain financial criteria.
Thank you to all 140 riders who participated in the event and helped to raise funds for breast health.
