Grads Giving Back winners recognized

Port Huron, MI – Two local high school graduates earned a $1,000 scholarship to the college of their choice through the Grads Giving Back contest, sponsored by McLaren Port Huron and RadioFirst. Graduating seniors from Blue Water area high schools submitted photos which demonstrated their volunteerism in the community to RadioFirst stations WPHM, WBTI, Rock 105.5, and WSAQ. Winners were determined by public vote. 

Caitlyn Lyon, a graduate of Marysville High School, volunteers for the Marysville Youth Cheerleading Clinic. Lyon will attend Michigan State University in the fall to study chemistry.

John Richardson, a graduate of St. Clair High School, volunteers for the St. Clair Junior Football program. Richardson will attend St. Clair County Community College in the fall.

Lyon and Richardson were congratulated by McLaren Port Huron President & CEO Jennifer Montgomery, and interviewed on RadioFirst stations WBTI, WPHM and WSAQ.
