Volunteer - McLaren Flint

Volunteer For The McLaren Flint Auxiliary

McLaren Flint's Auxiliary Volunteers participate in a variety of activities to support the Medical Center's patient care efforts.

Auxiliary Volunteers touch lives in many ways

Most McLaren Auxiliary volunteers would agree you get back far more than you give. And there are never enough volunteers! Men and women, age 18 and older, are invited to join McLaren's team of talented and dedicated volunteers.

We Match Your Interests and Skills with Vital Needs

Whether you volunteer to assist patients and families, work on craft projects, or answer the telephone, you'll serve in an area that matches your interests, talents and skills. In fact, we even arrange a schedule around your availability - from a minimum four-hour shift every two weeks, to several days per week or month - mornings, afternoons, or evenings.

Areas of need include the Emergency Room, Heart & Vascular Unit, Karmanos Cancer Institute, Surgical Lounge, Information Desk, and Gift Shop. We always need talented "crafters" hands to make special items for patients. Volunteers are always needed at community events. "There's a place for everyone," says Ginny Livingston, Auxiliary President.
