We are pleased to announce a new partnership between McLaren Greater Lansing and Lansing-based Brightwell Behavioral Health aimed at expanding adult inpatient behavioral health services in our immediate community and larger region.
Effective October 1, Brightwell will provide clinical and administrative operations of a dedicated inpatient behavioral health unit within McLaren Greater Lansing hospital. This new unit will care for up to 15 patients at a time, treating a range of psychiatric conditions in a safe, compassionate, and secure environment.
This collaboration reflects a commitment to meet the growing demand for mental health services in our community. The unit will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists, and will accept referrals from our ED, local providers, and community partners.
Brightwell’s expertise, combined with McLaren’s support, will help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care close to home. We look forward to the impact this partnership will have on our community and thank everyone involved in bringing this initiative to life.
