Dual Simulator

Thanks to donations from the hospital's Medical Executive Committee and our Women's Giving Circle, we were able to fund the purchase of a simulator system used to provide training in a myriad of ultrasound applications for our Medical Education Department.

As with simulation in general, this approach allows MGL house staff to grow confidence and clinical competence practicing their skills prior to doing the same procedures they would on a real patient.

This equipment improves patient safety and is especially critical to the Anesthesiology residency program at McLaren Greater Lansing, as having this simulation training is a requirement of their program.
