McLaren Flint, part of McLaren Health Care and its statewide McLaren Stroke Network, welcomes Dr. Abhishek Singh to the team of interventional neurologists at the hospital. Dr. Singh has over a decade of experience in this specialized field of medicine. He is a board-certified neurologist who holds advanced fellowship training in endovascular surgical neuroradiology.
Dr. Singh completed fellowships in vascular medicine and endovascular surgical neuroradiology through Wayne State University. He completed his advanced fellowship in endovascular surgical neuroradiology at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac. Dr. Singh completed his residency in neurology at Detroit Medical Center and earned his medical degree from Krishna Medical Center in India.
Dr. Singh has held several faculty appointments and leadership roles and has extensive experience participating in clinical research.
McLaren Flint remains the region's only Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and has recently received its sixth consecutive recognition from the American Heart Association as a 2025 Get With The Guidelines® Stroke GOLD PLUS award recipient, demonstrating its proven dedication to ensuring all stroke patients have access to best practices and life-saving care.
