NCI-designated excellence. Karmanos is one of only 57 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the U.S., bringing research-grade standards to community settings.

• World-class clinical research, including more than 600 clinical trials, 150 investigational therapeutic agents studied in a variety of malignancies, and trial participation involving more than 1,000 investigational drugs/cellular therapies in the last 15-20 years. More than 50% of all FDA-approved therapies were first tested at Karmanos.
• Design, credential, staff, and operate full oncology programs—integrating medical, surgical, radiation oncology and research networks.
