Consultations in person, by phone and through telehealth

Once proton therapy is considered an appropriate treatment for your patient, our patient navigator will reach out to the patient to schedule a consultation.

If distance is an issue, our radiation oncologists and patient navigator can set up telehealth consultations with patients at their physician’s office. Call our patient navigator at (855) MY-PROTON to schedule.

Insurance Assistance

Our insurance patient advocate is on your patient’s side to navigate the process with all insurance carriers. Our goal is to help your patient receive the treatment that’s best for their cancer case.

Collaborative treatment

During your patient’s treatment at McLaren Proton Therapy Center, our radiation oncologists will remain transparent, and deliver updates on the treatment process and status of your patient’s cancer. Referring physicians are also part of the planning process for patients and may participate in the case review meetings.
