Marwood Nursing and Rehab

The Marwood Nursing and Rehab Development Council focuses on supporting the residents we serve as well as the community. Our goal is to continue to strengthen and build relationships with residents, their families, employees, volunteers, as well as the community and the donors who support Marwood.

Established in 2009, The Development Council was created to raise money to help fund the improvement of the facility's equipment and to support services that are provided to our residents and their families.

In addition to financial support, the Development Council aims to support a healthy community by offering healthcare education and community service programs. Overall, the Development Council brings the nursing facility and the people of St. Clair County together. There are three committees representing Marwood Nursing & Rehab.

The Annual Support Committee plans and assists in the implementation of programs intended to increase annual individual financial support for Marwood Nursing & Rehab for ongoing or annual gifts of $100.00 or more.

The Major Gifts Committee establishes, maintains and strengthens the involvement and relationships with individuals and businesses capable of contributing $1,000 or more to fund development of the organization.

The Community Relations Committee organizes and conducts health education and community service programs for community members. This committee of volunteers is an important piece of providing education and increasing involvement of the community members in our organization.
