Visiting Guidelines

  • Visiting hours are 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily.
  • Visitors who have a positive viral test for COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine, should not enter the facility.
  • All visitors must sign-in when visiting.
  • Masks are not required but can be worn if the individual chooses.
  • Visitors should use proper hand hygiene when visiting.
  • Visitors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Electronic Device Use

As guests at Marwood Nursing & Rehab, we expect that all residents, visitors and staff are treated in a respectful manner, while preserving the integrity and privacy of all patients. For this reason, the use of ALL cameras and recording devices, including but not limited to, cell phone recording functions, is prohibited in resident care settings. Additionally, the use of mobile and electronic devices should be limited in resident care settings, and is prohibited in certain resident care settings if the use will interfere with medical equipment use. These areas will be marked accordingly to ensure resident safety and compliance.

Pet Visiting Program Guidelines

  • Owners shall provide a copy of their current certificate of vaccinations to the Activity Director.
  • Pets must be in good health and must not have fleas or ticks.
  • Pets must be on a leash not longer than 5 feet, under control of the owner at all times, and should not visit other residents.
  • Pets must be well socialized.  Pets that exhibit unacceptable behavior or develop health problems must have visiting privileges withdrawn.
  • Pets shall not be permitted in areas where food is prepared or stored or in any other areas where cleanliness and sanitary precautions are necessary to protect the health, comfort, safety, and well-being of residents.
