Marwood Nursing & Rehab offers volunteer opportunities seven days a week to those who wish to assist others. We welcome individuals, students, families, and groups. Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteer when it is convenient for you and help make a difference in the life of a senior while serving your community. No commitment is too small.
Volunteers are needed for:
Holiday and Special Events: assist the activities staff in setting up events or in transporting residents to and from special functions
Activities: participate in group activities, provide companionship, play cards or games, or read books or magazines to residents
Arts and Crafts: participate in arts and crafts and assist residents in artistic group activities
Pet Visits: bring a suitable pet to visit residents
Resident Outings: be a companion for residents during a community outing
Transport: assist in transporting residents to and from select activities, rehabilitation, as well as in-house services
