Introducing Canvas! Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) is a modern, intuitive platform designed to make online learning simple, engaging, and effective. With Canvas LMS, we are able to:
- Create and deliver courses with interactive content, multimedia, and assessments
- Provide learners with anytime, anywhere access across devices
- Support collaboration through discussion boards, messaging, and group work tools
- Track learner progress with dashboards, analytics, and reporting
- Integrate seamlessly with existing tools and systems for a streamlined experience
Canvas Catalog
Canvas Catalog is a course discovery and registration system that integrates directly with Canvas LMS. It allows us to showcase our offerings in a branded, searchable catalog that feels like a professional storefront and enables self-service enrollment. Users must have an account in Canvas first before being able to self-enroll.
Information for Instructors
If you are interested in creating a course in Canvas, please complete an application via the link below. Course creation is only available to McLaren employees and faculty.
Course Request Application
Once your course request application is submitted, please allow 1-2 weeks for review and approval. Once approved, you will receive instructions via email for accessing the course template you will use when creating your course.
