At the Dean C. Burns Health Sciences Library our colleagues and community members have access to books and journals in print or electronic formats; audiovisual materials; internet access and web-based databases. Computers are also available for patron convenience.
Patients and community members are encouraged to call or visit to access materials from the Dean C. Burns Health Sciences Library. There are professional Librarians available to assist you in finding the answers you need. You may contact the Library at 231.487.4500 or library@northernhealth.org.
A recent partnership with the regional public libraries' online catalog allows community members to search the Burns and CHEC (Community Health Education Center) collections while at their own library.
The Dean C. Burns Health Sciences Library is located on the ground floor of the Burns Professional Building (main floor of the Hospital), and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. with the exception of some holidays.
