Planned Gifts

Planned Giving

Concern for others expressed through a gift to the Legacy Society is a true mark of stewardship. It ensures that the material assets we have been blessed with during our lifetime are shared with others in a planned and purposeful way after we have departed.

Long term gift planning can provide financial and tax advantages for our donors while also making an impact on our patients and our communities. Many of our donors accomplish their charitable goals with gifts from their estate plans. Naming McLaren Bay Medical Foundation as a beneficiary in your estate plan can make a big impact on our future without impacting your finances today.

If you have questions, please email us at Lynn.Weaver@mclaren.org or call 989-895-4728, you may also email Carrie.Schultz@mclaren.org or call 989-895-4725. Thank you for supporting the McLaren Bay Medical Foundation and our organization’s commitment to provide care as we expect for our own family!

Steps To Consider When Making A Planned Gift

  1. Contact your attorney, financial advisor, or CPA. Let them know you are considering a planned gift. They can assist you in determining what type of gift best suits your personal and financial circumstances.
  2. Be sure to talk to your family and friends about your personal wishes regarding family needs as well as your legacy gifts.
  3. MBMF has staff available to meet with you or your advisors to discuss giving opportunities and assist with providing the necessary language to be used in your documents.
