Patient Room Service

Your diet is very important to your recovery and overall health. Many patients are placed on special diets while hospitalized. If you have questions or concerns about your diet while you are hospitalized, have your nursing staff contact the dietician. Your breakfast tray will include a menu from which you can order your meals for the next day.
Please mark your menu so it will be ready for pickup. If you require assistance, please notify a member of the nursing staff. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will receive menus tailored to your specific needs.

Lost and Found

Leave valuables at home or send them home with someone you trust when you are admitted. If that is not possible, they should be deposited in the hospital safe and retrieved when you are discharged. If you lose something, notify your nurse immediately and every effort will be made to help you find it. McLaren Thumb Region does not accept responsibility for items of value unless they are deposited in the safe.

Fire Safety

We periodically conduct fire drills. If you hear an alarm, stay where you are. In the event of an actual emergency, hospital staff will notify you. The hospital is fire resistant, and our employees are well-trained in safety procedures.
