Information for Applicants

Working at McLaren Flint as a resident or fellow offers experiences with state-of-the-art equipment and learning from a nationally recognized faculty and staff as a valued member of the health care team.

Most importantly, trainees are afforded the opportunity to provide care to a socioeconomically diverse patient population with exposure to unique pathology and opportunities to improve quality of care. Trainees are supported through a Resident/Fellow Council as well as a medical education team that promotes a safe learning environment.

Each program determines its own eligibility requirements, application processes, and interview structure as detailed within their program-specific information.

All matching into one of the residency programs or cardiology fellowship must report for orientation the last full week of June. Those matching into other fellowship programs must report for orientation as directed by the program.
