    McLaren Macomb/Oakland has provided Cardiovascular training since 2002. We offer a dynamic, hands-on clinical and personalized training, formal didactics, and a supportive environment. Externs, interns, and residents play an important role at McLaren Macomb/Oakland, providing direct care to our patients under the supervision of attending physicians. .

    The Emergency Residency training program at McLaren Macomb is designed to educate physicians to provide quality and compassionate patient care. It is intended that the graduates of this program be qualified and eligible for certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. The program is 36 months in duration and complies with the ACGME.

    McLaren Macomb Hospital (formerly Mount Clemens General Hospital) has been training outstanding Family Medicine residents for over 25 years. We are located in Mount Clemens, Michigan, roughly 30 minutes north of Detroit. Our three-year program is accredited through the ACGME. We are also affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. McLaren Healthcare Corporation understands that Primary Care is the foundation of any hospital system. Family Medicine physicians were responsible for the development of the hospital over 70 years ago and remain an integral part of the institution today.The Family Medicine Program at McLaren Macomb consists of board-certified physicians that are committed to preparing you to become a proficient, empathetic, and well-rounded physician. Throughout the program you will receive thorough training on both inpatient and outpatient Family Medicine. Our program provides exposure to patients with varying socioeconomic situations in a community-based setting. With a board pass rate of 100%, McLaren Macomb’s Family Medicine residents are well-prepared to enter practice after graduation.

    McLaren Macomb has provided Internal Medicine Residency Training since 1955. We offer a dynamic, hands-on clinical and personalized experience, formal didactics, and a supportive environment. Externs, interns, and residents play an important role at McLaren Macomb, providing direct care to our patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

    Furthermore, we provide interns and residents opportunities for growing duties and autonomy. In addition, the Cardiology fellowship program at our institution fosters further formal education and experience. This three-year program provides exposure to a wide variety of pathology and clinical scenarios which prepare our graduates for competitive fellowships or practice as highly skilled board-certified Internists.

    The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at McLaren Macomb is a four-year program for eight residents (two per year) in a community hospital setting. The program consists of board-certified physicians that are committed to creating an academic environment that promotes patient-centered care, advances surgical proficiency, and cultivates the life-long pursuit of medical knowledge. In addition to the excellent formal teaching program, residents benefit from assisting community attending staff with private surgical cases. With a board pass rate of 100%, McLaren Macomb’s Obstetrics and Gynecology residents are well-prepared to enter practice after graduation.
