Beyond the CITI training requirement, HRPP educational offerings include a wide array of learning opportunities listed below.
Brown Bag Series
The Research Integrity Department will be hosting quarterly Brown Bag sessions throughout the year on various research topics.
Session topics and exact dates would be announced by email flyer, iRIS announcement, and on this webpage.
All Brown Bag sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams from 12 - 1 p.m. You do not have to pre-register. Simply join the Teams meeting by clicking on the link in the Brown Bag flyer. You can obtain continuing education CME or CE credits for attending. Credits are obtained through a system called CME Tracker, which is offered by McLaren Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) department. Further details will be provided during the Brown Bag webinar. One hour of continuing education will be awarded.

IRB Education
The MHC HRPP is committed to providing IRB Members with the education and tools necessary to conduct thoughtful and rigorous reviews of human research protocols that come before the MHC IRB Committees. Therefore, the MHC HRPP provides various educational opportunities to assist with building knowledge and competence over time. These opportunities include IRB member CITI training, PRIM&R Ethical Research Oversight Course (EROC), continuing education presentations during the IRB meetings, one-on-one submission review training, regulatory resources, and quarterly Brown Bag research education presentations for the research community, and completion of CITI training.
