As the extraordinary health care crisis closes doors in our northern Michigan community and around the globe, our doors remain open as they have for over 100 years. Every day, our staff arrive at McLaren Northern Michigan with one intention – to care for patients. There are a number of ways that you can help to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and our community during this unprecedented time.

Health and safety are the foundation of our work. Your gift will allow us to access and quickly deploy resources, including equipment, supplies, and education to meet urgent and emerging needs that best serve our patients in times of crisis.

Donate Supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

McLaren Northern Michigan has received an outpouring of support from the local community! The Foundation is coordinating donations of critical supplies from businesses, community organizations, and individuals who have asked how they can help. Please see the frequently asked questions below for answers that should help those wishing to assist in this way. The following items are in high demand and donations are appreciated. Please print off and complete the donation form and include with your contribution.

Accepting Donations of Medical Supplies and Equipment:

• New, unused masks (including construction grade)
  • N95 masks
  • Isolation/Surgical masks
• Cloth, homemade facemasks based on new CDC Guidelines
• Medical grade gloves
• Sanitizing wipes with an alcohol content of 60% or more
• Non-contact forehead thermometers
• Other personal protective equipment on a case by case basis.
